THE G.R.I.D.SEASON 2 / PLAYER GUIDE
The rules are here to protect the world, the community, and everyone’s time. Read them before playing, and ask staff if anything is unclear.
THE SHORT VERSION
Most rules come down to one idea: do not ruin someone else’s experience. Play honestly, communicate before affecting another player’s work, and leave shared spaces better than you found them.
Treat every player with respect in chat, voice, events, and normal gameplay.
Ask before entering private bases, starting PvP, or changing another player’s build.
Do not cheat, exploit, bypass security, or use tools that create an unfair advantage.
OFFICIAL SERVER RULES
Keep chat and gameplay welcoming. Harassment, targeted disrespect, and behavior that drives people away are not acceptable.
Do not enter another player’s base or private area without permission.
Do not take items, resources, animals, or shop stock that does not belong to you.
No unnecessary destruction, sabotage, traps, or damage to builds, terrain, community areas, or infrastructure.
Only fight another player when everyone involved has agreed to PvP.
Do not use duplication, unintended exploits, prohibited mods, or any other method that creates an unfair advantage.
Public areas are for everyone. Keep them usable, clean, and accessible to the whole server.
Check with staff and nearby players before beginning a major build that may affect districts, roads, views, or shared plans.
End exploration and other dimension access may be limited. Follow the current staff guidance before traveling or expanding.
Chunk loaders are not allowed unless they have been approved by @jakecruzin.
CLIENT & MOD POLICY
ClientID reviews installed mods when you connect. If your setup is blocked, remove the listed mod or ask staff before trying again.
All Java players must connect with ClientID installed. It verifies each client and supports the server’s security and anti-cheat systems.
Performance and quality-of-life mods may be approved when they provide no gameplay advantage. Examples include Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, zoom, and Full Bright.
Do not spoof, tamper with, or work around ClientID or another security system. Bypass attempts may result in an immediate permanent ban.
